FunShine Faith Lesson- Mana is Sweet

Bible Story Time
Using the props again we reviewed the bible story then discussed times in our life that make we don't reley on God when w should. When we are mad, or afraid.

Art:
Manna baskets

Using the supply provided we made baskets for our manna

Each child cut the paper plate in half, colored the plate and added the honey bee stickers.
We then used the basket for our music activity.

Music and Movement - pick in' up manna

After making our manna baskets we sang this song while picking up the manna and filling our baskets.

Pickin up Manna sung to the paw paw patch

Pickin' up manna; drop it in the basket
Pickin' up manna; drop it in the basket
Pickin' up manna; drop it in the basket
Enough for just one day

Come on ( child's name); pick up the manna
Come on ( child's name); pick up the manna
Come on ( child's name); pick up the manna
Enough for just one day

Funshine Faith Lesson- God sends Manna

Bible Story Time: at the beginning of each month our Good ferried Goody comes and shared with us a new lesson that's on his heart. This month we pulled out coriander seeds. Normally it's simple for the kids to guess what Goody is thinking but today they had some trouble. Using the Story props I shared the story in  Exodus 16 we talked about how God provides for us as well .

Mix and Make
Using playdoh we pretended to be bakes and make loves of bread.

The pandas love learning the new action rhymes to do before we pray. They were excited that this one encourages them to stand.
